Douglas Dorsey

Douglas Dorsey joined Waverly Advisors in September 2026 following the acquisition of Heartwood Wealth Advisors by Waverly Advisors, LLC. Douglas serves as a Business Development Specialist, Emeritus.

Douglas focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships and values the opportunity to work closely with clients to understand their needs and priorities.

Prior to joining Waverly, Douglas was with Heartwood Wealth Advisors after selling his Wells Fargo FiNet practice to the firm in 2018. He began his career in financial services in 2001 with PaineWebber, which later became UBS, and established his own office in 2009.

Outside of work, Douglas enjoys spending time on the water and watercolor painting. He also enjoys time with his family, especially his grandchild.
