Elizabeth Brasher Featured as One of the Experts at the 2021 BBJ Women’s Summit
Waverly Advisor’s own Elizabeth Brasher, J.D., CWS, was recently featured on a panel of experts at the annual Birmingham Business Journal’s (BBJ) Women’s Summit.
The 2021 BBJ Women’s Summit provided attendees the opportunity to network, gain wisdom and be inspired by local female executives who shared their expertise. The event was moderated by Eunice Elliott, an American author, comedian and former journalist from Birmingham. Additionally, the BBJ honored the outstanding achievements in business by women throughout Birmingham and announced the honorees of Birmingham’s Women to Watch 2021.
Brasher was invited to speak and discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, how to inspire the next generation of female leadership and tips for advocating for women in the community. Brasher is the Practice Leader for Women’s Wealth Connection, a team of Birmingham financial advisors who provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services for women.
“It was an honor to speak at this year’s BBJ Women’s Summit,” said Brasher. “As Practice Leader of Women’s Wealth Connection, I’ve always believed that advising women for their futures – financial or otherwise – is my passion and I was so excited to share some of the things I’ve learned over the years.”
In addition to being Practice Leader for Women’s Wealth Connection, she also serves as Client Consultant. Her responsibilities include working with individuals and families to implement financial planning, estate planning and investment planning. She lives in Birmingham with her husband and two children.
