Brian M. Cann

Brian Cann joined Waverly Advisors in September 2026 following the acquisition of Heartwood Wealth Advisors by Waverly Advisors, LLC. Brian serves as Wealth Advisor in Waverlyโ€™s Richmond, Virginia, office.

Brian brings more than 40 years of experience in wealth management, with a background in portfolio management, trust administration, estate planning, tax planning and financial planning. Throughout his career, he has served in portfolio management and trust administration roles within several large bank trust departments, primarily working with high-net-worth individuals and families.

Brian enjoys helping individuals and families establish their financial goals and working alongside them to thoughtfully manage their resources in pursuit of those goals.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College and holds the Chartered Financial Analystยฎ designation.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with friends and family and splits his time between Richmond and South Florida.
