Luna Mora joined Waverly in March of 2024 and serves as an Intern. Luna interned with private equity firm New Capital Partners during the summer and fall of 2023. She also interned at the Public Affairs Research of Alabama as a Data Analyst and at Momentum Leaders as an Event Coordinator. During her senior year at Samford University, Luna served as the President and Co-Manager of the Information Technology sector within the Bulldog Fund, a $3.8 million student-managed fund that contributes to the university’s endowment. This opportunity allowed her to conduct thorough financial analyses, and make strategic investment decisions. Collaborating closely with team members, Luna executed investment strategies, gaining an understanding of managing portfolios in dynamic market environments.
Luna enjoys researching and uncovering trends and untapped opportunities as well as collaborating with her team. In her spare time, she enjoys sunny days and loves to be outdoors. The majority of her free time is spent with family and friends. She loves traveling, learning from different cultures, and is always looking for new places to explore!
