Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris joined Waverly Advisors in September of 2026 following the acquisition of Heartwood Wealth Advisors by Waverly Advisors, LLC. Sarah serves as a Wealth Advisor.

Sarah brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Waverly, she spent five years with Heartwood Wealth Advisors as an advisor, seven years with SBK Financial, and 10 years with SunTrust Bank, where she worked in trust administration and other roles.

In her role, Sarah focuses on financial planning and estate planning, working directly with clients and alongside other advisors to help navigate complex planning needs. Her experience also includes retirement planning and income strategies, trusts and estates, charitable giving, tax-efficient wealth strategies, and helping families navigate wealth across generations. She especially enjoys getting to know her clients and working through complex planning scenarios.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University and is a Certified Financial Plannerยฎ professional.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years and their son and daughter, both of whom are in college, as well as their black Lab. She enjoys spending time with her family at their home on the Chesapeake Bay, cooking, reading, running, and Pilates.
