Waverly Advisors is an independent, fee-only fiduciary RIA headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded in 1999, we serve high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, institutions, and retirement plans, advising on assets in excess of $35.5 billion with a team of 450+ professionals nationwide. We began in 1999 as a single office in Birmingham, Alabama, a fee-only, fiduciary firm built on one belief: advice should always be aligned with the client’s best interest. No commissions. No compromises. For two decades, we grew quietly and deliberately, partnering with like-minded firms who shared our values. Then, in 2021, we joined forces with Wealth Partners Capital Group and HGGC, fueling a national vision while keeping our fee-only model intact. In 2022, we became Waverly Advisors.

What followed was one of the most remarkable growth stories in the industry: 35 partnerships in under five years, expanding from roughly $4 billion to more than $35 billion in assets under management, with 480+ professionals.

Our story is inseparable from Joshua L. Reidinger (1975–2024), who helped build this firm in 1999 and led it as CEO, growing it into the firm it is today. Josh embodied our culture, inspiring others, seeing the potential in everyone, and leading with warmth, energy, and unwavering heart.

Today, under President and CEO Justin Russell, we carry his vision forward, striving every day to live up to the extraordinary example he set.
