Melanie Nichols Named to Forbes 2026 Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State List

Waverly Advisors is proud to congratulate Melanie Nichols, CFA®, CFP®, Partner, Regional Director and Wealth Advisor, on being named to the Forbes 2026 Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State list.

Melanie ranked No. 5 among women wealth advisors in Alabama, marking another well-deserved recognition of her experience, leadership and commitment to serving clients.

A part of Waverly since 2011, Melanie brings more than 30 years of experience in investment management and comprehensive financial planning. She works closely with individuals and families to bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives and has dedicated a significant part of her practice to supporting women through major life transitions. Melanie also co-founded Waverly Women, an initiative designed to support and connect women throughout every stage of their financial journey.

In addition to serving her clients, Melanie is a member of Waverly’s Investment Committee and remains deeply involved in the Birmingham community through several charitable and civic organizations.
