Cathy Zheng joins Waverly Advisors February 2026. Cathy leads strategic finance at Waverly, partnering with teams to support planning, decision-making, and execution across strategic and operational initiatives. She brings experience spanning public accounting, investment banking, and private equity. Before joining Waverly, Cathy was an investor at HGGC, where she supported companies with operational improvements, corporate finance projects, and M&A transactions. She began her career at PwC in audit and valuations.
Cathy is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). She holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
Outside of work, Cathy enjoys reading, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen, attempting to recreate flavors from her trips.
