Colin Purcell joined Waverly Advisors in January 2026 after Pure Portfolios was acquired by Waverly Advisors, LLC.
Throughout his years at Pure, Colin completed the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® (IACCP®) program and moved from Lead Compliance and Operations Associate to become the Chief Compliance Officer. His strong background is based in business operations and overseeing code of ethics, policies, procedures, and governmental registration while always supporting clients and advisors.
Outside of Waverly, Colin volunteers on the Board of the Greater Portland Compliance Association (GPCA). He aids with the organization’s development of professional relationships in the local financial services compliance community to both grow the organization and cultivate speakers and attendees for Association events.
Colin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University and likes to spend time with his friends and family, most notably on the Oregon coast where he grew up. He also spends time in Portland enjoying live music, sporting events, and reading in his favorite café.
