Jim Brown joined Waverly Advisors in November of 2024 following the acquisition of Buckingham Advisors by Waverly Advisors, LLC. As a Senior Investment Analyst at Waverly, Jim brings more than 20 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Equity Research, Trading, Operations, and Compliance. Prior to joining Buckingham in 2022, he managed multiple teams and was involved in numerous critical areas of a rapidly growing firm that expanded to more than $7 billion in assets under management before its sale. Jim is enthusiastic about identifying appropriate investments and constructing portfolios that assist clients with achieving their financial objectives.
Outside of the office, Jim is an avid performer, having previously toured professionally with the acapella group he co-founded. He continues to be involved on and off the stage as President of Springboro Community Theatre where he also directs, acts, and designs and builds sets. When not under the lights, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and their two yellow labs.
