Julius Ridgway joined Waverly Advisors in September of 2023 after SoundPath Investment Advisors was acquired by Waverly. He serves as a Partner, co-Regional Director of Mississippi and Wealth Advisor. With over 30 years of professional experience in financial services and a brief stint in banking and real estate, Julius entered the investment field over 20 years ago, the vast majority of which was spent with SoundPath. His focus remains on investment research, portfolio management and wealth management. Julius also serves as a member of Waverly’s Investment Committee.
Julius enjoys identifying investments that have the power to compound wealth over a long period of time, which in parallel, positively impacts his clients’ wealth. Providing a service that allows his clients to achieve financial independence, and enjoy a worry-free retirement that perhaps they never imagined as a result of the magical power of compounding, brings him great joy.
Julius enjoys traveling, being outdoors, hiking, and being active. He used to be a serious runner for a number of years at distances ranging from 5k to a few 50k ultra-marathons. His guiltiest pleasure is driving his sports car at track weekends at Barber Motorsports Park and other race tracks around the country.
