Melynda Rodgers joined Waverly Advisors in July of 2024 after River Capital Advisors was acquired by Waverly. Melynda brings over 25 years of professional experience to serve as a sounding board in helping individuals make informed financial decisions. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, her background reflects her passion for helping individuals and families develop a comprehensive path that integrates the many aspects of their financial picture. In addition to her CFP® certification, she holds a Chartered Life Underwriter designation which affords her a deeper level of knowledge to advise on life and disability insurance, as well as business owner succession and continuation planning. She also holds a Chartered Special Needs Consultant designation so she can share her passion and expertise for guiding families with loved ones with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to plan for the many financial challenges they face. She is Certified in Long-Term Care which gives her the ability to provide guidance on how to plan for chronic illness and cognitive decline, and she is a Life and Annuity Certified Professional.   Philanthropy is one of Melynda’s core values, and she devotes her free time to making an impact on the community. Melynda is the proud mother of three grown children and a special needs grandchild.
