Michael Whitney, CFA

Michael Whitney, CFA joined Waverly Advisors in March of 2025, following the acquisition of NBW Capital LLC by Waverly Advisors, LLC. As a Portfolio Manager at Waverly, Mike brings over 30 years of experience in Investment Management, Equity Research Across Multiple Sectors, Fixed Income Investing, Portfolio Construction, Retirement Planning and Financial Planning at all stages of life. Mike loves the deep and lasting relationships and friendships he forms as part of his role providing each client with the appropriate mix of assets to meet their individual goals while at the same time being there to assist when life or the markets throw a curveball that the plan was not anticipating.

Mike has a wonderful wife, son, daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. He loves spending time with them at the beach, skiing or playing beer league hockey with his son. Mike & his wife Ellen also have multiple permanent and temporary pets in their home as part of their work with Coastal Cat Rescue in Hull, MA. In his spare time, he enjoys, Golf, Pickleball, Hockey, Running and the occasional Spartan or Tough Mudder Race.
