Nancy Labbe joins Waverly Advisors in December 2025. As our new Private Market Operations Manager in the Atlanta office, Nancy brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and investment operations across higher education, corporate, and financial services. She holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science from Providence College. Her expertise spans investment accounting, performance measurement, portfolio administration, and financial controls.
Over the course of her career, Nancy has overseen complex endowment, pension, and mutual fund portfolios while leading high-performing teams and building scalable, efficient processes. She is recognized for her ability to strengthen operational workflows, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with custodians, auditors, and consultants to support sound investment decision-making.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nancy has a lifelong love of music—she has played piano since elementary school—and enjoys baking desserts for family and friends. She is also deeply engaged in her community, serving in leadership roles as Treasurer for her local elementary school PTA, her high school foundation, and her homeowners’ association.
Originally from New Jersey, Nancy is a devoted New York Giants and Yankees fan, though she’s also happy to cheer for the Braves. A fun fact: she was born on Good Friday and has a soft spot for the character Eeyore.
