Nik believes access to professional advice should not come with exorbitant fees, misaligned incentives, and conflicts of interest.
Nik pens a weekly blog, hosts the Blind Spots podcast, and creates explainer videos to share his insights into the financial markets, behavioral finance, and financial literacy. His thought leadership has earned him recognition in several publications, including Investor’s Business Daily, Citywire Magazine, Portland Business Journal, WSJ, Investment News, ETF.com, and Financial Advisor Magazine.
Nik has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Washington State University and earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation. Nik has served as an adjunct finance professor at Washington State University Vancouver campus. In his free time, Nik enjoys reading, golfing, exercising, coaching club basketball, and spending time with his wife and three children.
